Earlier this month (October 2013) there was a large number of channels that changed satellites and frequencies.

This was because of a “frequency agreement” that meant that some of the frequencies operated by Eutelsat on their Eutelsat28A (formally Eurobird) satellite, were reallocated to Astra.
As a result channels ion those affected frequencies had to be moved from one satellite to another and this resulted in some channels changing frequencies, amongst them BT Sports, Euronews, Setanta and some radio stations.

For many people using Freesat and Sky boxes, they should have seen no disruption or changes, these satellite receivers automatically updating to the new frequencies.
For people using other satellite receivers, who may have lost channels recently, you will have to perform a frequency rescan, to get the channels into your receiver on their new frequencies.
