The BBC will be temporarily expanding its “Red Button” service on satellite for the summer months.

Normally the BBC run just one “Red Button” stream.

But with a summer of sport, including the World Cup, Wimbledon, Commonwealth games, Glastonbury, the BBC are temporarily increasing the number of streams to offer more choice of viewing for these events.

This will mean viewers will be able to watch one of a number of Wimbledon tennis matches, or a selection of events from Glasgow 2014.

Users with Sky and Freesat boxes should see these Red Button services added to the channel lists in the near future.

Users with other satellite receiver will have to manually scan them into their receiver – using frequency 11464 H 22000 5/6.
